Good to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n

Custom Notifications<\/a> is a separate add-on that extends the capabilities of the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System for WordPress plugin. To start using the add-on, make sure you have the latest version of the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System installed on your WordPress site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Once the Custom Notifications Add-On<\/strong> is installed and activated, a new section appears in the menu under ‘Chauffeur Booking System’<\/mark> -> ‘Custom Notifications’<\/mark>. This section allows you to create new templates and define custom settings for existing email notifications.<\/p>\n

Accessing Custom Notifications<\/h2>\n

Navigate to ‘Chauffeur Booking System’<\/mark> -> ‘Custom Notifications’<\/mark>. You will see a list of all modified email templates. To add a new configuration, click the ‘Add New’<\/mark> button.<\/p>\n

\u2018Main\u2019 Tab<\/h2>\n

Custom Notification ID<\/h3>\n

Displays the unique ID of this modification.<\/p>\n

E-mail Template<\/h3>\n

Select the email template you want to modify from the dropdown list. Available options include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • New booking: email sent to the customer.<\/li>\n
  • New booking: email sent to defined addresses.<\/li>\n
  • Updated booking: email sent to the customer.<\/li>\n
  • Driver assigned to the booking: email sent to the driver.<\/li>\n
  • Driver unassigned from the booking: email sent to the driver.<\/li>\n
  • Driver accepted booking: email sent to defined addresses.<\/li>\n
  • Driver rejected booking: email sent to defined addresses.<\/li>\n
  • Driver pre-arrival reminder: email sent to the driver.<\/li>\n
  • Customer pre-arrival reminder: email sent to the customer.<\/li>\n
  • Customer post reminder: email sent to the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u2018Conditions\u2019 Tab<\/h2>\n

    Service Type<\/h3>\n

    Select the service type for which this template should apply. Options include:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Distance<\/li>\n
    • Hourly<\/li>\n
    • Flat Rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Leaving it as ‘- None -‘<\/mark> applies the template to all service types.<\/p>\n

      Transfer Type<\/h3>\n

      Choose the transfer type for this template. Options include:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • One Way<\/li>\n
      • Return<\/li>\n
      • Return (new ride)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Leaving it as ‘- None -‘<\/mark> applies the template to all transfer types.<\/p>\n

        Booking Status<\/h3>\n

        Select the booking status for which this template should apply. Available statuses include:<\/p>\n

        • Pending<\/li>\n
        • Confirmed<\/li>\n
        • Cancelled (rejected)<\/li>\n
        • Completed (finished)<\/li>\n
        • On hold<\/li>\n
        • Refunded<\/li>\n
        • Failed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Leaving it as ‘- None -‘<\/mark> applies the template to all booking statuses.<\/p>\n

          \u2018Options\u2019 Tab<\/h2>\n

          Email Subject<\/h3>\n

          A text field allowing you to enter a custom email subject. The entered subject will replace the default email subject for notifications.<\/p>\n

          Hide Prices<\/h3>\n

          A toggle button that, when enabled, hides all prices, totals, and taxes within the email content. This is useful if you do not want drivers to see fare amounts.<\/p>\n

          Hide Sections<\/h3>\n

          Select which sections of the email content should remain hidden. Available options include:<\/p>\n

          • Logo<\/li>\n
          • General Section<\/li>\n
          • Route Section<\/li>\n
          • Route Locations Section<\/li>\n
          • Vehicle Section<\/li>\n
          • Driver Section<\/li>\n
          • Booking Extras Section<\/li>\n
          • Client Details Section<\/li>\n
          • Billing Details Section<\/li>\n
          • Agreements Section<\/li>\n
          • Payment Section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            \u2018Texts\u2019 Tab<\/h2>\n

            Texts<\/h3>\n

            This section allows you to configure custom texts along with optional headers and place them in different locations within the email template. You can add multiple custom text blocks, each with its own:<\/p>\n

            • Location (where the text appears in the email).<\/li>\n
            • Status (visible\/hidden).<\/li>\n
            • Optional Header.<\/li>\n
            • Content (custom message).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              The content field supports placeholders found in the ‘Shortcodes’<\/mark> tab.<\/p>\n

              \u2018Shortcodes\u2019 Tab<\/h2>\n

              This section lists shortcodes that can be used in the ‘Content’<\/mark> field within the ‘Texts’<\/mark> tab. Available shortcodes include:<\/p>\n

              • [booking_id] \u2013 Booking ID.<\/li>\n
              • [booking_status_name] \u2013 Booking status.<\/li>\n
              • [client_first_name] \u2013 Client’s first name.<\/li>\n
              • [client_last_name] \u2013 Client’s last name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Global Settings<\/h2>\n

                After activating the add-on, a new entry ‘Chauffeur Booking System: Custom Notifications’<\/mark> will appear in the ‘Settings’<\/mark> menu, allowing you to manage global settings for the add-on.<\/p>\n

                License Details<\/h3>\n

                Enter the required information to validate your license for the add-on. Enter the Purchase Code and the name of the Envato account that was used to purchase the plugin.<\/p>\n
