Let’s assume you want to set specific fixed (or flat) prices for specific distance ranges, for example:<\/p>\n

Distance in Km \u2013 Total Order Price
\n0-10 km – $29
\n10-30 km – $39
\n30-50 km – $49
\n50-100 km – $79<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Important!<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have already created any price rules, deactivate them (move to the trash) because they may overwrite the final effect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You need to create as many rules as you have distance ranges. In this case there will be 4 rules.<\/p>\n

I will apply the rules to the BMW<\/strong> vehicle, as shown in the screenshots below.<\/p>\n

Adding ‘Rule #1’<\/h2>\n

Step 1.<\/strong> Go to the ‘Pricing Rules’<\/mark> menu and add a new pricing rule (Add New), I call it ‘Rule #1’.<\/p>\n

Step 2.<\/strong> Go to the ‘Conditions’<\/mark> -> ‘Vehicles’<\/mark> tab and select the vehicle from the list (in my case “BMW 5 Series Long”).<\/p>\n

Step 3.<\/strong> Go to the ‘Conditions’<\/mark> -> ‘Distance’<\/mark> tab and set the parameters as shown in the screenshot below:<\/p>\n

Step 4.<\/strong> Go to the ‘Prices’<\/mark> tab and set the ‘Price Source Type’<\/mark> option to ‘Set directly in the “Prices” tab’<\/mark>, set ‘Booking Sum Type’<\/mark> option to ‘Fixed’<\/mark>, and in the ‘Prices’<\/mark> table below, set the ‘Fixed’<\/mark> price that corresponds to this distance range, as shown in the screenshot below:<\/p>\n

Step 5.<\/strong> Save the rule by clicking ‘Publish’<\/mark>. The rule should look like this:<\/p>\n

You have now configured your first distance range. Regardless of whether the distance is 1 km or 10 km, the price for the ride is fixed and amounts to $29.<\/p>\n

Adding ‘Rule #2’, ‘#3’, and ‘#4’<\/h2>\n

Now add the next rules, ‘Rule #2′ for the distance range from ’10’ to ’30’ km, ‘Rule #3′ for the distance range from ’30’ to ’50’ km, and ‘Rule #4′ for the distance range from ’50’ to ‘100’ km in the same way as shown above by performing steps 1 to 5.<\/p>\n

Pay attention to step 3, where you define the distance range, and step 4, where you define the price for the given distance range.<\/p>\n

After creating all 4 rules, the rules should look like this:<\/p>\n
