Good to Know<\/strong><\/p>\n

Invoices<\/a> is a separate add-on that extends the capabilities of the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System for WordPress plugin. To start using the add-on, make sure you have the latest version of the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System installed on your WordPress site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After installing the Invoices Add-on<\/strong> for the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System, additional invoice management features become available directly within the ‘Chauffeur Booking System’<\/mark> -> ‘Bookings’<\/mark> menu. This integration allows you to easily create, view, and send invoices related to individual bookings.<\/p>\n

Accessing the Invoice Component<\/h2>\n

Navigate to ‘Chauffeur Booking System’<\/mark> -> ‘Bookings’<\/mark>. In the list of all reservations, click on a specific booking to view its details. On the booking details page, a new component (meta box) labeled Invoice<\/strong> will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. This component provides several functionalities, enabling you to:<\/p>\n

  • Create a new invoice<\/strong> for the current booking.<\/li>\n
  • Download (view)<\/strong> existing invoices related to the booking.<\/li>\n
  • Send an invoice to the customer<\/strong> associated with the booking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Invoice Component Fields<\/h2>\n

    The component includes the following fields:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Invoice<\/strong> – A selection list where you can choose to either create a new one or browse previously generated invoices for the booking.<\/li>\n
    • Action<\/strong> – A list of actions you can perform with the selected invoice. Options include ‘Download an invoice’<\/mark>: opens the invoice in PDF format for review or download, and ‘Send an invoice to the client’<\/mark>: emails the selected invoice to the customer.<\/li>\n
    • Invoice Number<\/strong> – This field allows you to input a custom invoice number. If left blank, the system will automatically assign the next available number based on the global numbering settings.<\/li>\n
    • Comments<\/strong> – A text field where you can add any additional notes or information that will appear in the ‘Comments’<\/mark> section of the generated PDF invoice.<\/li>\n
    • Client E-mail Address<\/strong> – This field is auto-populated with the customer’s email address associated with the booking. However, you can modify this address if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Processing Invoices<\/h2>\n

      After configuring the desired options, the ‘Process’<\/mark> button at the bottom of the meta box executes the selected action, either generating a new invoice, sending an invoice, or downloading an existing one.<\/p>\n

      Examples of Invoice Operations<\/h2>\n

      Creating and Viewing a New Invoice:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • In the ‘Invoice’<\/mark> field, select ‘Create a new one’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n
      • In the ‘Action’<\/mark> field, choose ‘Download an invoice’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n
      • Leave the ‘Invoice Number’<\/mark> field blank or enter your own invoice number.<\/li>\n
      • Click ‘Process’<\/mark> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        A new invoice will be generated and opened in a new window in PDF format. The invoice will also be automatically saved to the system.<\/p>\n

        Creating and Sending a New Invoice:<\/h3>\n

        • In the ‘Invoice’<\/mark> field, select ‘Create a new one’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n
        • In the ‘Action’<\/mark> field, choose ‘Send an invoice to the client’.<\/mark><\/mark><\/li>\n
        • Leave the ‘Invoice Number’<\/mark> field blank or enter your own invoice number.<\/li>\n
        • Add any additional information in the ‘Comments’<\/mark> field if needed.<\/li>\n
        • Verify the ‘Client E-mail Address’<\/mark> and click ‘Process’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The invoice will be generated and sent immediately to the client’s email as a PDF attachment.<\/p>\n

          Sending an Existing Invoice:<\/h3>\n
            \n
          • In the ‘Invoice’<\/mark> field, select the desired document from the list of existing invoices.<\/li>\n
          • In the ‘Action’<\/mark> field, choose ‘Send an invoice to the client’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n
          • Click ‘Process’<\/mark> to email the selected invoice to the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Downloading an Existing Invoice:<\/h3>\n

            • In the ‘Invoice’<\/mark> field, select the existing document.<\/li>\n
            • In the ‘Action’<\/mark> field, choose ‘Download an invoice’<\/mark>.<\/li>\n
            • Click ‘Process’<\/mark> to open the PDF invoice in a new window.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
