Updating the Plugin
Important!
If you have made any changes directly to the plugin’s core files, they will be overwritten during the update. Data and settings entered through the WordPress dashboard will remain intact. We recommend creating a backup of your website before performing an update.
Important for Translations!
If you have customized the plugin’s translations using .PO and .MO files stored in the wp-content/plugins/chauffeur-booking-system/languages directory, back them up before updating the plugin. After the update, you can upload the files back to the same directory.
Updating the Plugin
The update process depends on where you purchased the plugin.
Plugin Purchased from QuanticaLabs
If you purchased the plugin directly from QuanticaLabs and your license is activated, new versions are available directly in your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the ‘Plugins’ section in your WordPress dashboard.
- Find Chauffeur Taxi Booking System for WordPress.
- If a new version is available, click ‘Update Now’.
- Wait until WordPress completes the update.
Plugin Purchased from Envato Market
- Go to your Envato Market Downloads page and download the ‘Installable WordPress file only’ package for Chauffeur Taxi Booking System for WordPress.
- In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Add New’.
- Click ‘Upload Plugin’.
- Select the downloaded plugin ZIP file and click ‘Install Now’.
- When WordPress detects that the plugin is already installed, confirm that you want to replace the current version with the uploaded version.
Good to Know
After updating the plugin, clear your browser and website cache if you notice outdated styles, scripts, or interface elements.
