As always, we’ve been monitoring the plugin closely and have addressed several bugs reported by our users.

Updated Google Maps API

Google introduced significant changes to its Maps API on March 1st, impacting location and distance services. These changes required us to update the plugin to ensure compatibility with the new system. The update particularly affects users generating new API keys, as Google moved away from Legacy mode, which was only available to existing keys.

We noticed these changes on March 6th and have since worked to align the plugin with the updated API system. Version 8.4 addresses these issues, and the plugin is now fully aligned with the updated API system.

While users with existing API keys may not experience immediate issues, we strongly recommend updating your API key for full compatibility. If you’re generating a new API key, it must follow the updated process outlined in the documentation.

Updated License Verification Process

We’ve completely overhauled the license verification process in Version 8.4. This includes a new domain association feature to ensure that the license is validated more securely and efficiently.

New Option to Display Price Before Discount

We’ve added an option to display the price before the discount is applied. This gives users more flexibility in how prices are presented and ensures that your pricing strategy is more transparent for customers. You can now show the original price alongside the discount applied, making the booking process clearer for your clients.
