Chauffeur Taxi Booking System 9.3 — Suitcase Pricing & PDF Documents

We’ve released version 9.3 of the Chauffeur Taxi Booking System, introducing several important improvements focused on pricing flexibility, booking clarity, and overall workflow.

This update brings long-awaited suitcase support, including the ability to price luggage separately, automatically match vehicles based on suitcase count and passengers, and provide customers with a dedicated booking summary page after submission.

Below is an overview of what’s new and how these changes can support your daily operations.

Suitcase Support and Luggage Pricing

The most important addition in version 9.3 is suitcase support. This update finally makes it possible to handle luggage as a separate part of the booking logic, which is especially useful for airport transfers and other services where baggage has a direct impact on pricing and vehicle selection.

Version 9.3 adds support for separate suitcase handling for each service type, the option to define the default number of suitcases, and a new price type: price per suitcase. Suitcase-based pricing is now available in the Vehicles, Routes, and Pricing Rules modules.

Automatic Vehicle Selection Based on Passengers and Suitcases

To make bookings more accurate, the plugin can now automatically select a vehicle based not only on the number of passengers, but also on the number of suitcases. This helps better match customer requirements with actual vehicle capacity and improves automation during the booking process.

New Booking Summary Page After Submission

Version 9.3 also introduces the option to create a booking summary page displayed after submitting a booking. This page works as an extended confirmation screen, giving customers clear access to all booking details in one place.

It can be used as a more informative thank you page, making the booking process feel more complete and transparent.

PDF Document with Booking Details

Another useful addition is the option to create a PDF document with all booking details. The PDF can be accessed from the booking summary page and from the WordPress dashboard, making it easier to review, download, or share booking information when needed.

Copy Booking Details to Clipboard

For faster day-to-day work, version 9.3 also adds the option to copy all booking details directly to the system clipboard. This small improvement can save time when handling bookings manually or passing information between systems.

Improved Field Order in Step #1

We’ve also updated the order of some fields in step #1 of the booking form. For all three service types — Distance, Hourly, and Flat Rate — location-related fields now appear before the date and time fields.

In practice, this means the form now asks where first and when second, which creates a more natural booking flow.

Other Improvements

Version 9.3 also includes improved code and new language files for Polish, Portuguese, and Croatian.
