Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:

• New pricing calculation mode: You can now calculate booking prices by summing individual time slot fees instead of using an average daily rate — perfect for tiered pricing scenarios.
• Entry/Exit time-based rules: Define prices based on specific check-in and check-out times, enabling dynamic day and night pricing.
• Default entry/exit time setting: Set standard entry and exit times for new bookings to streamline the reservation process.
• Stripe: Enable collection of the customer’s billing address during checkout via Stripe.
• Stripe: Optionally collect the customer’s tax identification number at checkout.
• CSV export for bookings: Export filtered reservations to a .csv file directly from the bookings list for easier reporting and data handling.
• Live parking space counters: View total, occupied, and available space counts in real-time in the admin dashboard.
• Upcoming occupancy insights: See how many spaces will be in use in the next 1 hour, 3 hours, and by the end of the day — directly in the bookings module.

Why These Updates Matter

Smarter and More Accurate Pricing

Previously, when a booking spanned multiple pricing brackets, the system calculated an average daily rate and multiplied it by the number of days. This often resulted in uneven total prices due to rounding. For example:

• 1 day at $10 = $10
• 1 day at $9 = $9
• 1 day at $7 = $7
• 4 days at $5 = $20

Average per day: $6.57. Final price: $6.57 × 7 days = $45.99

With the new option enabled, the plugin simply sums the prices per day: $10 + $9 + $7 + $20 = $46. No averaging. No rounding errors.

This also opens the door for highly customized fixed pricing structures. For example:

• 1 day – $10
• 2 days – $18
• 3 days – $25
• 4 to 6 days – $30
• 7 days – $50
• 8+ days – $10 per extra day

This can be implemented using day-by-day rules with calculated per-day values. The result? Total precision and flexibility.

Time-Based Pricing Rules

You can now create pricing rules based on entry and exit times. For instance, apply cheaper rates for night parking or surcharge during peak hours. This makes the system much more versatile for different parking scenarios – short-term, long-term, daytime, or overnight.

Export Bookings to CSV

Managing reservations just got easier. In the Bookings module, you’ll find a new “Generate CSV” button. It lets you export filtered bookings into a clean, structured spreadsheet – perfect for reports, archives, or custom processing.
